Henna- Mehndi

Mehndi is known as a temporary tattoo. In my culture it is used during weddings. A professional, or a family friend who knows how to apply mehndi, applies mendhi on the brides hands, and feet. The person applying the mehndi hides the grooms initials in the brides hands, and the groom is supposed to try and find his initials in her hands. Mehndi settles down overnight, and disappears in about two weeks. It is incorrectly assumed that if someone has mehndi on their hands that they are getting married, but usually close friends get their hands decorated also.

Oh, I love Henna-Mehndi. Sometimes I browse through the internet looking at some incredible drawings. Once I saw this beautiful rose on a girl's hand and it looked amazing.
