I Wonder

Quite a while back I went to Hope Club with Lorita and I found it really interesting. We talked about love, and about not swearing, and also that you should pray for your enemies, and I don't know if I'm interpreting this incorrectly but I felt they were saying that you should get rid all your "bad" emotions like anger.
I was somewhat confused so I asked them how can a person not get mad, there's bound to be a time when you get furious. And when I'm mad how can I control what I say? I will most likely say something I don't mean without even thinking, and I may swear. They said that when you're angry you should pray to God. But when I'm angry praying to God is not my first instinct. Then I asked them how I can pray for my enemy. If someone was to hurt someone I deeply love how can I pray for them. By praying for them I feel I forgive them, and accept that their offense as a mistake. How can I pray for people who do malicious crimes?
**I need some help understanding.

I understand your concern. You know, it's not said that you should completely forget the person's comments and not feel angry. Yes, you are bound to get angry. Everybody in the Bible has gotten angry throughout the book. Even Jesus when he saw how they were treating his father's temple. It is sometimes controversial how we can certainly control our anger. Even I, sometimes, find it so hard to keep my mouth shut when I am feeling angry. It's so hard to not swear at your neighbor. When I started talking about emotions, what i was trying to say was there is so much evil taking place around the world. Emotions are always turning. Anger is one these emotions that creates a dismissed bond between friends. Praying for your enemies means breaking that bond. Breaking that anger. And most important of all asking God to help you survive in the world. Anger is bound to get you nowhere.
We are not saying that you should never get angry because it is impossible to not let it all out. But God says, "come to me in your worst stage and I will turn your worries into blossoms." Just find refuge in God and he will help you. That's what I believe and that's what has helped throughout my life. God knows how many times I have been angry before. I just pray.

wooooo~ Lorita's comment if long :]]

Well first, you brought up a really interesting topic. I never think about praying when I get mad nor pray for "enemies".

But the thing I always do is keep it inside or just be total piss and say things I don't mean xD [seems like a bad habit]
