Sometimes people are not always who you think they are
People are not always who they seem to be, a hackneyed phrase used so often that I never really thought about it. However this week I found out that this phrase is used for a reason, and it is true you think you know a person, but the truth is you can never know them. No matter how much you love, or care for them. It doesn’t matter if it's a friend, or a relative. I thought I knew my friends, but some how they continue to surprise me. (Sometimes in bad ways, and other times in good ways.)

OH, I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I feel like I know my friends but they "continue to surprise me." There was this friend in my life once that I shared all my secrets with and we basically became sisters. However, I had no idea that her life was filled with so much guilt and regret. I mean she told me about a time when she was abused and raped. I had no idea this sweet girl was hiding behind such a dark secret. It's difficult to really understand somebody if they keep hiding their motions. Me, on the other hand, I just spill my guts out wherever I can. Thanks for always being there for me when I need you the most. It really means a lot to me.
